Kelly began her Girl Scout journey in 2nd grade as a Brownie. When her daughter showed an interest in joining Girl Scouts in Kindergarten, it was a great opportunity to rekindle the joy she had in her own troop. She admits it was intimidating at first but with the support of the Town and Country Service Unit Team and veteran leaders guiding the way it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. She received Rookie of the Year in 2019 and Volunteer of Excellence in 2024. Following in the footsteps of her own mother, Kelly is also the Cookie Manager for the troop. Camping is one of her favorite Girl Scout activities!
