Jackie grew up in Southern Pennsylvania where she was a member of Girl Scouts until she reached Cadettes. Her favorite memory of Girl Scouts was the bus ride to and from summer day camp where the older girls led the younger girls in song. When her daughter, Genevieve, was in Kindergarten she knew she wanted to get her involved with Girl Scouts so after attending a welcome social with her neighbor, Kelly, they began a troop together. Now a Cadette level troop, they still have many of the girls that started out with them as Daisies and they look forward to them remaining in Girl Scouts through high school.
